Igor Tereshkov (b.1989 Energodar, Ukraine) Multidisciplinary artist, indie game developer and visual researcher currently based in Montenegro.
Studied documentary photography and photojournalism in 2017 at School of Modern Photography Docdocdoc in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) in 2019 graduated from course Experiences of Contemporary Photography ibid. Holding master degree in AIT (applied information technology in economy, 2012, MTI, Moscow).
Working in mixed medium including installation, performance and contemporary photography.
Currently researching themes of totality, forced migration and displacement.
Tereshkov received several prizes and grants, been shortlisted and nominated for a number of awards, exhibited and published worldwide. Among others for his work “Oil and Moss” in 2019 he received the Project Launch Grant from CENTER Awards (USA), been nominated to Prix HSBC pour la Photographie (France) in 2020 and become one of FOAM TALENT (Netherlands) in 2021. In 2022 Oil and Moss series was exhibited in the Documentary Photographic Center — ImageSingulières (Sete, France). His current work “Red Heat” was exhibited in Schwab Museum (Biel/Bienne, Switzerland) in case of Bieler Fototage photo festival in 2022. Last group exhibition (2023) Burning Down the House, AFF Galerie, Berlin, Germany.
