“Peresident” explores excessive retention of power. The word Peresident is created according to the rules of Russian language, where the prefix “pere” (“over”) holds the meaning of crossing boundaries, like in trespassing or breaking the law.

It would be more correct to say “Peresident” since, in this case, we have an individual who overstayed his term, crossing the boundaries of democratic principles.

This design is done in a propaganda style characteristic for authoritarian regimes, and the word “Peresident” highlights the conflict between the power and its margins, drawing attention to the problem of the transfer of power and its retention mechanism.

This design was used to create stickers and to distribute them in city streets.
