F*cked Time

F*cked Time is a kinetic wall installation in which the second hand of a clock is replaced by a rubber phallus that continuously rotates clockwise. Through controlled mechanical movement, the work transforms the familiar structure of the clock into a destabilized sculptural system.

Rather than functioning as an instrument of measurement, the object exposes time as a mechanical construction under pressure, generating a subtle tension between order and dysfunction. What appears to be a stable system reveals interruption, distortion, and instability.

The work reflects on the historical and psychological condition of a generation that grew up in post Soviet Eastern Europe amid promises of freedom and transformation after the collapse of the Soviet empire. Decades later, those promises have turned into a reality shaped by violence, militarism, and political uncertainty.

Merging personal memory with political commentary, F*cked Time turns the wall clock into a symbol of historical pressure and the loss of control over one’s own destiny.
